IS REALLY FACELIFTED SELTOS 2023 IS WORTH ?
Good day everyone! I hope you are all doing well. Today, I want to review the new KIA SELTOS 2023 (FACELIFTED). Let's dive in together!
The facelifted Seltos offers three trims: Tech Line, GT Line, and X Line. If you're interested in this model and want to know the differences from the previous version, here's an explanation of the changes shown in the images.
Looking at the front side, the design may seem familiar. However, the grille has been enlarged and the daytime running lights (DRLs) have been reprofiled and now extend into the middle of the grille. Additionally, the updated Seltos model now boasts dynamic running lights that resemble those found on Audi vehicles, giving it a premium look. The bumper has also been refreshed as part of the facelift
In the Seltos' profile, there have been no changes to the sheet metal. However, higher-end models now come with 18-inch rims, instead of the previous 17-inch ones limited to the X-Line trim, giving it a more robust appearance.
It is noticeable that the car's front and rear have been updated with dynamic lights, while the interior of the facelifted Seltos features a sleek 10.25-inch screen combining a digital driver's display and touchscreen infotainment system. The design is reminiscent of the EV6 and exudes a luxurious feel. As a result of this new layout, the central AC vents are thinner. Additionally, the Tech Line trim now has a black/tan interior color scheme. .
Kia has added new features to make the Seltos more appealing, including a panoramic sunroof, dual-zone climate control, electronic parking brake with auto hold, and ADAS..
The Seltos no longer has the 1.4-liter turbo-petrol engine and has been upgraded with a new 160PS 1.5-liter turbo-petrol engine. This engine can be paired with either a 6-speed iMT (clutchless manual) or a 7-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission. The car will continue to offer the existing 1.5-liter petrol and diesel engine options.
Features such as Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, connected car technology, ventilated front seats, the Bose sound system, a powered driver's seat, drive and traction modes, and a wireless phone charger have been retained. In terms of safety, the vehicle is equipped with six airbags, electronic stability control, a tire pressure monitoring system, and a 360-degree camera.
Finally, the price of the Seltos starts at Rs 10.89 lakhs (ex-showroom). It will compete with the Hyundai Creta, Volkswagen Taigun, Maruti Suzuki Grand Vitara, and Skoda Kushaq.
